So, as of late I've been accumulating a pile of doodles since my new computer doesn't have Photoshop and I haven't been able to find a way/time to get my big ol' tablet from Home in Cleveland to home in New York (as you can see the difference is in the capitalization). But I'm currently doing a commission like job for a friend and am helping him design a logo for the poetry site he's working on right now (linksies when it's done) so I mustered up the gumption to ask my mom to ship me my tablet! I'm not sure if she has yet but if she has it should be here soon and if she forgot I'll have to remind her...actually I'm gunna call her right after this and check on that. I was considering popping over to the NYU computer store to see how much photoshop is there, but wasn't relishing the idea of laying down cash for a program I already had for another system, something about the redundancy made me squeamish. But I forgot about it until today, when my dad surprised me by telling me that he got me Photoshop for my mac and it should be coming any day now! I'm not sure what edition of photoshop it is, at home I worked with Elements which is what we had around the house and, although it's not specifically designed for art and editing it was fine by me. This means I'll get to work more with coloring, which I'm really excited to get back into. I felt like I half assed the coloring on my comic project for school in the time crunch and when I look at it I kind of cringe, so I'm looking forward to getting better with that again.
